Abstract

Abstract. In the current market, successful management of accommodation enterprises requires innovative and global approaches to provide high quality commodities. These approaches increasingly focus on envi-ronmental protection as a response strategy to global environmental concerns. The purpose of the study is to offer a universal model for implementing environmental innovations into hospitality industry, taking into
account a comprehensive assessment of the environmental technologies use in the hospitality market. In this paper, we present the results of the analysis of foreign and domestic experience of implementing environmental technologies into accommodation enterprises. The results described are consistent with the comprehensive assessment of environmental innovations use in regional hotels. Of special emphasis in the research is the author's classification of ecological technologies in the hospitality sector as well as the author's model of an eco-friendly hotel room developed. The scientific novelty of the research is the author's multifunctional model for implementing environmental innovations into hotel enterprises. The practical value lies in the system of data on the availability and level of conservation technologies use in the hospitality sector developed. This study seeks to understand foreign and domestic experience of implementing environmental innovations in the hotel business as the basic criterium of the conservation technologies system developed.
